Hand Balm

I have been using up existing hand creams that I have gathered over the years (something often given as a gift to teachers) so I hadn’t actually been looking for a plastic free alternative just yet. However, I learned of a plastic free, natural alternative when I won a prize from ‘Scence’ on Instagram.

Scence, based in Cornwall, use natural minerals and plant-based ingredients completely free of parabens. Their products are vegan, cruelty free and come in compostable and recyclable paper-based packaging therefore free of plastic. They make deodorants, moisturisers and balms.

As part of my prize I won the Cool Rose hand balm which reminds me of Turkish delight! You only need a small pea sized amount and it goes a long way. It feels nourishing and makes my hands feel great after use. It comes in a cardboard pot that can be recycled or composted after use. The pot is a great size so easy to carry around in your bag (35g).

You can find these Hand Balms at Parapura . Use the code 'Gemma10'* and recieve a 10% discount across the site.
