Hairbrush

Updated: Jul 1, 2020

My old plastic hairbrush was losing its pins and the rubber was starting to degrade (I had had it for about 10 years) so I needed a new one. I wanted to find a more natural brush that would work for me.

I found a sustainable bamboo hairbrush made with natural rubber and eco bamboo made by ‘Nature & my’. They offer a 25cm square one and a 23cm oval one. I have been pleased with the oval one I purchased. It is slightly larger than the brush I was using previously but I have gotten used to it and it works well with my fine hair. It is made well, reasonably lightweight and I am confident it will last many years. After that it is fully biodegradable.

Bamboo is considered a more sustainable option. It can help prevent soil erosion and help to improve soil quality. Also, it grows at a much quicker rate and converts carbon dioxide at a higher rate than traditional hardwood.

So if you are looking to replace your old brush when it is no longer usable I highly recommend looking for a bamboo brush with natural rubber.

You can get this brush from Nature & My
