Flawless Toner

Updated: May 25, 2022

A couple of months ago I finished up a plastic bottle of toner so wanted to find a plastic free alternative. I quickly discovered @flawlessveganbeauty Hydrating Rose and Lavender Toner which comes in a glass bottle with an aluminium lid both of which can be recycled.

The rose and lavender both soothe sensitive skin while witch hazel tightens pores. It is PETA approved, Vegan & cruelty-free and handmade in the UK.

Toner is designed to be used after cleansing and before moisturising. It should help to remove excess dirt, oil and make up as well as balancing the ph. of your skin and reducing your pores. To use a toner, you apply some to a face pad (ideally a reusable one) and then wipe over your face.

I am currently using it after a cleanser that is in a plastic bottle as I am using up products before getting new ones. My @ediebeessewing face pads work brilliantly for applying the toner. Afterwards I am using my plastic free moisturiser from @upcirclebeauty Check out my reel to see my routine in action!

I really like this toner. It smells nice, helps to remove excess dirt as shown on my face pad and makes my skin feel really refreshed and sometimes I get a gentle tingling sensation. It dries quickly meaning I don’t have to wait around too long before applying moisturiser. I feel it does a great job for my skin.

I have just finished my first 100ml bottle of this toner and already have my next bottle. The new bottle has a wider mouth which makes it much easier to get a useful amount onto the facepad.
