Mouthwash

Updated: May 25, 2022

Dental hygiene is important so before any switches regarding dental products I wanted to be sure they would still be as effective as normal products. I have been using traditional mouthwash in a plastic bottle so I was keen to find an alternative that would work as well as my regular mouthwash.

I found ‘Brushd.’ Peppermint mouthwash tablets. You dissolve them in a small amount of water before then gargling with them and spitting out. They have a slight hint of sodium bicarbonate but it is very subtle and there is a minty fresh feeling after use. They do no 'burn' in the same way as many alcohol containing mouthwashes. These are natural, dentist approved tablets. They initially come in a glass jar with an aluminium lid containing either 60 or 120 tablets. After this you can buy refill packs which come in cardboard and are also plastic free.
